software updates made available to correct specific
and critical problems or to support new hardware. These
patches are created based on the latest release of
the Insight Management Agents, hence must be installed
on top of the latest agents master kit. The patches
are cumulative within their agents category, and may
include fixes for more than one defect at a time. All
agent patches will be rolled into the next release
of the Insight Management Agents master kit. |

Symptom/cause:
The Insight Manager Web Agent (insightd) or any other HMMO
linking to the Insight Manager HTTP server library
(libcpqhmmo.so) running on systems with a hostname
that is < = than 8 characters will immediately exit
leaving a core dump. Hostnames with FQDN (fully qualified
domain names) in most cases do not manifest this problem
because of the overall hostname length being greater
than 8 characters. This patch provides an updated Insight
Manager HTTP library (libcpqhmmo.so) that has
the fix for the problem.

Symptom/cause:
cpqstor_mib crashes with a core dump on systems with a large configuration
of SMART Array 5300A Raid controllers, configured with
spare drives. This patch provides an updated SNMP storage
agent (cpqstor_mib) that has the fix for the crash.
This patch also enhances the binary to support printing
of binary version when invoked with a -V argument.
Usage: #/var/opt/CPQIM310/bin/cpqstor_mib -V.
