Continued sustaining engineering support for Tru64 UNIX versions after their published end-of-support dates.

When Prior Version Support - Sustaining Engineering (PVS-SE) for Tru64 UNIX V4.0F, V4.0G, and V5.1A ends on June 30, 2007, Tru64 UNIX Extended Engineering Support (EES) will be available for these versions. EES provides full remedial support including elevation to Tru64 UNIX Engineering for problem resolution.

Since it is critical to ensure EES is in place before problems arise, customers requiring continued Sustaining Engineering Support on Tru64 UNIX V4.0F, V4.0G, and V5.1A should contact their HP Representative to discuss under what terms and conditions such support may be purchased.

HP encourages customers to stay current with the latest Tru64 UNIX versions and HP products. HP suggests customers install the latest versions as a proactive measure to address known issues. EES is available for sites that require engineering support but are unable to upgrade to the current supported versions.
