An enhancement has been made to the times(3) function that improves performance on subsequent systems calls for the same process by internally caching information. An additional enhancement has been to proc(4) such that the creation time field returned by a stat(2) call contains a process's actual creation time instead of the current system time.

• HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1B-1/PK3
• HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1B-2/PK4
• HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1A PK6

RESOLUTION

HP is releasing the following Early Release Patch kits (ERPs) publicly for use by any customer. The ERP kits use dupatch to install and will not install over any Customer Specific Patches (CSPs) that have file intersections with the ERP.

The fixes contained in the ERP kits are scheduled to be available in the following mainstream patch kits:
