The ERPs identified in the Resolution section of this Engineering Advisory provide the HP Tru64 UNIX modifications necessary to address the Western Australia decision to implement a daylight saving time trial starting 3 December 2006.

Note: HP software for the Java™ Platform is also affected by the Australian daylight savings time changes. A correction for the Java™ Platform will be available in early March 2006 to address the Australian time changes. HP Tru46 UNIX customers should refer to the Java Technology Software (http://h18012.www1.hp.com/java/alpha/) download page for the availability of the Software Development Kit (SDK) and the Run Time Environment (RTE) v 1.4.2-5 for HP Tru64 UNIX.

The following versions of HP Tru64 UNIX are affected:

• v 5.1B-4
• v 5.1B-3
• v 5.1A PK6
• v 4.0G PK4
• v 4.0F PK8

HP is releasing the following ERP kits publicly for use by any customer. The ERP kits use dupatch to install and will not install over any Customer Specific Patches (CSPs) that have file intersections with the ERP. Contact your service provider for assistance if the installation of an ERP is blocked by any of your installed CSPs
