Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) is a platform
and resource independent standard that defines
a common model and protocol for monitoring and
controlling a diverse set of resources in an heterogeneous
environment. The HP WBEM services for Tru64 UNIX
implementation is based on The Open Group (TOG) Pegasus Open
Source Software (OSS) project, and on the WBEM
and Common Information Model (CIM) standards produced
by the Distributed
Management Task Force (DMTF).
The HP WBEM Services for Tru64 UNIX integrates
with the rest of HP's WBEM Services and Applications.
